South Africa is in the midst of a growing hunger crisis.

According to recent reports, 2.7 million children under the age of six live in households where their basic nutritional needs are not met.
That means millions of children are growing up hungry—without the food their bodies and brains need to develop. Even more alarming, 1 in 4 children in South Africa go to bed hungry, according to Operation Hunger SA. And each year, more than 1,000 children die from malnutrition. Hunger not only threatens survival—it steals potential, causes stunting, and limits a child’s ability to learn, grow, and thrive.

At XPN, we believe no child should suffer because of poverty or circumstance. That’s why we created XPN Together We Eat, a non-profit initiative delivering real, nourishing meals to those who need it most.

our mission

To combat child hunger by providing nutrient-rich, balanced meals that support healthy growth, brain development, and long-term wellness with transparency and dignity at every step.

We don’t hand out sugar-laden fillers or basic porridge. Our meal replacement shake is a scientifically developed formula, trusted by athletes and health-conscious families, now made available to vulnerable children and communities.

Every meal changes a life. Whether you’re a concerned parent, a community leader, a school, a sponsor, or a corporate partner—you can help us end hunger, child by child, community by community.Let’s restore dignity and give every child the chance to grow up healthy, strong, and hopeful.
